"Food glorious food!"

3-5 times a day we are throwing food and drink down our throats to keep us alive. Some of the food will give us lots of energy, some will make us fat and unhealthy, and some will help us reduce excess body fat and stay healthy. Which one are you eating?

So who is right? Mr Atkins? Weight watchers? Gillian Mckeith? Confused?

The Nutrition & lifestyle program at Synergy studio will teach you the science and facts behind the principles of nutrition. The answer to the above questions is none of them are completely right. Each scheme has made a too much emphasis on one aspect of nutrition, and that will never work for every individual as we are all very different. Some of us may require a higher proportion of protein in our balanced diets, while other will do better on higher carbohydrate proportions.

What's your perfect balance?

Metabolic typing tests help you to find out what proportions of carbs to protein will suit YOU. Once your unique metabolism has been identified, you can eat the foods you like (within healthy limits) and simply proportion them accordingly.

The Nutrition and lifestyle coaching program covers all the factors essential to increase health and vitality. You will learn how to apply the foundation principles:

  • You are what you eat
  • Stress
  • Circadian health (sleep/wake cycles)
  • You are when you eat
  • Digestive health
  • Fungus and parasites
  • Eat right for your metabolic type

This program is ideal if you have health concerns (overweight, high cholesterol and high blood pressure) or want to look after your body but unsure how to go about it.

After this course of sessions you will be able to-

  • Maintain or reduce your body fat levels (including cellulite)
  • Reduce the aging process
  • Increase energy levels and reduce fatigue
  • Reduce and eliminate how often you get colds and flu
  • Learn how to proportion your meals based on your metabolic type
  • Reduce cravings
  • Reduce bloating and body fat increase
  • Reduce mood swings, anxiety and depression

The Nutrition and Lifestyle program is based on coaching and supporting, rather than 'treating a symptom' approach. A lot of problems that you may have within the body can be reduced or eliminated via a balanced healthy lifestyle. Are you ready to learn?

The program usually runs for 8-12 sessions. Both you and your practitioner reach a point where you can go off on your own and practise all the key points learned. You will be fully equipped with knowledge and tools to maintain a lifestyle full of health and vitality. Shorter duration courses can be scheduled (please ask at the studio for details).
